We spent yesterday with Brittany & Ellis in Springfield, Missouri at the Veridian Wedding and Event Center. Here is just a small sneak peek at the happy couples big day! More coming soon...
I spent this evening with these two sweethearts, exploring a little bit of Joplin and taking some engagement photos! There are so many good ones to share, but here are just a few of my favorites so far! More to come! Stay tuned...
I met Paige and Shawn at the Elk City Overlook and hiking trails out at the lake. That location, in combination with a perfect sunset made for an awesome engagement photoshoot! Here are a few of my favorites from their session....
I drove out to Sedalia, Missouri this past weekend to meet up with Amanda and Matt and 'shoot some engagement photos! We shot on their family farm just north of the city. Beautiful countryside landscapes, old barns, and a quarry all lended themselves to this awesome engagement photo session! Can't wait for the wedding and these two sweethearts to be married! Here are a few of my favorites!
Baby Tripp will be 6 months old in two days! What a perfect time for a photoshoot! Devin & Erica invited me over to take some pics in the nursery, and then we took it outdoors for a few! Tripp is styling (as usual) in the red and blue anchor onesie. It's always a good day when you get to spend some time with some of your favorite people! Love this little family! Here are a few of my favorites from today!
Melissa and Justin were married at the fabulous Bullskin Creek, the new wedding venue and event center in Neosho, Missouri. As I was snapping a few getting ready pictures, Justin broke out a bottle of what I believe was home-made Pineapple Upside Down Moonshine! I noticed it was going in circular fashion around the group of groomsmen. As I tried reposition myself in the circle, so as to not be required to drink the moonshine, Justin noticed my evasive maneuvers and promptly advised that I wasn't getting out without taking a sip. Needless to say, I didn't fight it :) These two sweethearts said 'I do' outdoors, and the sun set over the trees just in time for a perfectly lit ceremony. As spring days in the midwest go, this one was perfect. There was no threat of rain or weather, clear skies and a temperature that was just right for a wedding. Both of them were calm and relaxed as we went through the entire day of photo'ing, which made my job so easy! I've been anxiously waiting to get caught up so I could get into their edits and share a few more of my favorites. Enjoy! Don't forget to leave the happy couple a congratulatory comment below!

Kara and Joel said "I do" at the beautiful Catholic Church in the town of St. Paul, Kansas. They recited their vows surrounded by friends and family and alongside their son Masen, and you could definitely feel the love in the room that day! From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be such an amazing day for these two sweet-hearts. Both bride and groom each shared an enthusiasm for what was about to take place, which made being their wedding photographer a breeze. After the happy couple saw each other for the first time in the sanctuary of the Church, we headed outside to the church's garden to get some 'posing' in :) The garden was absolutely gorgeous and provided the perfect backdrop for bridesmaids and groomsmen alike. Here are some of my favorites from Kara and Joel's special day.

Meaghan and Gabe got married this April at the Harn Homestead in Oklahoma City! What a unique venue choice. So many possibilities! You can definitely feel hundreds of years of history reverberating throughout the venue. That running in concert with the fact that a beautiful wedding is about to take place is pure magic! These sweethearts recited their vows out in front of the old rustic barn on the property, and then moved inside to enjoy the evening with friends and family, drinking and dancing the night away. We pulled double duty for this wedding, doing both photo and video. That meant the bride and groom got to write super-sweet love letters to each other (video coming soon). I got to sit with Gabe as he feverishly scribbled out his love-letter, copying from iPhone to paper as one of his groomsmen read aloud. This was wedding day teamwork at its finest! Gabe was a little nervous Meaghan wouldn't be able to read his handwriting, but after much reassurance, we headed off, letter in hand to deliver to the beautiful bride. She read aloud with tear filled eyes, as Gabe's words were given life by the voice of his bride. "I LOVE YOU", he repeated throughout the letter. Each time giving Meaghan and even bigger smile. Those words not only repeated throughout the letter, but throughout the day, and signified the momentous occasion for this truly happy couple! We were honored to have been there and taken part as their wedding photographers. Here are just a few of our favorites from Meaghan and Gabe's Wedding Day!

Chelsey & Heath make their home in Fayetteville, Arkansas but tied the knot at the Red Door Barn in Webb City, Missouri! It was such a perfect day for the happy couple. Anytime you get 70 degree weather in April with clear skies all day long, it's a win! Aside from the weather, these sweethearts were so in love. They kept it traditional and saw each other for the first time the second Chelsey walked out from behind the old wooden doors and into the aisle. Heath could hardly contain his emotions after just reading the sweet note the flower girl had delivered from Chelsey. Their special day was full of little mementos including letters that they had written to each other that were seeled with a bottle of wine to read on their 25th wedding anniversary. How sweet is that? Here are just a few of our favorites from Chelsey and Heath's Wedding Day...

Jess & Jeremy was our first April wedding this year. These sweet-hearts got married at Devil's Den State Park, just south of Fayetteville, and the day was pure magic. When I say magic I mean all the pine trees (errr, ummm... I mean Eastern Red Cedar as I was promptly corrected by Jess), waterfalls and beautiful flowing streams, a perfect sunset, flying burrito, dancing, and Jess karaoke'd 'Baby Got Back' (her flow was so crazy!), and not the least of the magic.... these two are so in love and we were so happy to be a part of their wedding day and get all their perfect moments captured in pictures. Here are a few of our favorites...
Here is the first look at Liz & Yannick's Engagement Shoot:) More coming soon!
After a Saturday wedding in Omaha, on Sunday I got to explore the Kansas City West Bottoms and Loose Park with these two love-birds:) I had a such a fun time hanging out and getting to know Shannon & Luke a little bit. KC definitely doesn't leave anything to be desired in terms of photo spots! There were so many wonderful backdrops and landscapes for this beautiful couple to showcase their love! Here are a few of our favorites so far...
