My new friend Tyler recently messaged me about putting a plan together to propose to his girlfriend Kelley while they were visiting Kansas City. We worked out a date where I could squeeze in a proposal on a Saturday before a wedding, and we decided to do it at Loose Park just off the Plaza in Kansas City. Our plan was to have the proposal done on the south bridge by the duck ponds, and as I arrived I really had to be careful not to blow my cover with Kelley. I kept my distance and took pictures of ducks, waiting for my cue and watching them out of the corner of my eye. It was a delicate balance to strike but it worked out absolutely perfectly.
