Jaycee and Blake's Wedding was on New Year's Eve at the First Christian Church in Oklahoma. I couldn't think of a more perfect way to ring in the new year than with a beautiful wedding with a sweet couple like Jaycee and Blake. It was so good to see how many people came to see these two tie the knot on the last day of the year. 

Blake is a United States Marine stationed in California, so finding some time off for a wedding didn't come easy. Soon he will begin his deployment away from his beautiful bride so these two are enjoying every second together, so happy and in love, as you can undoubtedly see from their wedding album:) 

Blake saw his Bride for the first time as the church doors opened, and she began to come down the aisle with her father.

Paige+Aaron / / Wedding / / Rustic Oaks / / Miami, Oklahoma

Paige and Aaron got married this fall at Rustic Oaks in Miami, Oklahoma. This was our first time experiencing Rustic Oaks and it quickly became an instant favorite for us! It doesn't take long upon arrival to see the time, effort, and attention to detail that goes into making this the perfect spot for a beautiful wedding. Perfectly groomed walkways, fences, bridges, and overhangs all centered around the big barn where the happy couple would say ''I do" in the evening. 

I was so happy to be back with this couple after their engagement session in the spring. Paige and Aaron's day was filled with close friends and family who came in to make their wedding day special and one to remember.  This day was perfect and I'm so happy we were there to capture it all for them in photographs. Michelle+Bryan [Wedding] Bullskin Creek / / Neosho, Missouri

Michelle & Bryan got married at Bullskin Creek in Neosho, Missouri. I was there to document their beautiful wedding day as their wedding photographer :) The happy couple was our first November wedding of 2016. The unseasonably warm weather had us exploring the nearby countryside for picturesque fall backdrops, and we found them!

Amber+Justin [Wedding] at Bullskin Creek / / Neosho, Missouri

Amber and Justin got married this October at Bullskin Creek in Neosho, Missouri. These two reside in California, but Amber is from the area so they decided to tie the knot close to where she grew up. They even managed to have their family dog make the trip, which made the occasion just that much more special! Justin is a Marine and was able to get some time away to marry the woman of his dreams! What better way to spend some time off huh? We snuck these two off into the woods for their first look, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house when Justin saw his bride for the first time. It was such a beautiful moment for the soon to be newlyweds. 

We pulled double duty for this wedding, doing photography and videography (video coming soon). 

The ceremony took place at sunset in a beautiful setting overlooking a gorgeous pond as the bride and groom were surrounded by family and friends. Just after the couple sealed their vows with a kiss, a drone flew overhead to capture the moment forever as the bride and groom snapped a picture with their wedding party and guests. We took just a few more portraits with the bride and groom at sunset and then they were off to dance the night away with their wedding guests. Samantha [Joplin High Senior] at Red Oak

Samantha Dorsey is a senior at Joplin High School. We got to photograph her senior pictures last month at Red Oak in Carthage and some family property out near Sarcoxie. Red Oak was a place we photographed a lot in the early days, so it was nice to get back out there with Sam and see some of the new additions for her Senior Pictures. After Red Oak, we headed out to some of the Dorsey's family property! Complete with majestic forests, ponds, old barns, and the ruins of a windmill, this property had it all. We love getting to incorporate family property and history into a senior portrait album:)

Kim+Taylor [Wedding] Buhler, Kansas

Today I am thankful for sweet couples like these two! Kim & Taylor got married this October in Buhler, Kansas (near Hutchinson). This day was an absolute dream. The girls were just about finished getting ready when I arrived. I snapped a few pics in the bridal suite and shortly  after we headed out for the Bride & Groom's first look under the trees. The couple met with a long embrace and each fought back the tears as they saw each other for the first time. We explored the woods around their ceremony site for pictures of the happy couple and their bridal party. The wedding ceremony was absolutely gorgeous and took place at mid day outdoor under the trees. Guests lined the wooden benches as they waited to see Kim for the first time! Taylor again fought back the tears in seeing his stunning bride come down the aisle. As she met him, the two along with all their wedding guests opened the wedding with a beautiful hymn, recited their vows, and sealed it with a kiss!

Rachel+Nathan [Mt. Magazine] Arkansas Wedding

Rachel & Nathan got married this October at Mt. Magazine in Arkansas. About 3 hours from our home base, the trip was long but so WORTH IT! The scenery was breathtaking and the day as a whole was just beautiful and we were so happy to be a part of it:) The love that these two share was evident throughout the day in hand written notes, the beautiful ceremony in the Arkansas mountains overlooking the treetops below, and the joining of three lives into a perfect little family! Madison+Clinton [Wedding Film] Estes Park, Colorado/Della Terra Mountain Chateau

Maddie & Clint invited me to capture their love and wedding day in a short film at their wedding in Estes Park, Colorado. The happy couple chose the Della Terra Mountain Chateau as their wedding venue. As October days go, this one was an absolute dream. Although the threat of rain was there on and off all day long, they could not have picked a better day to say their vows! The sun flirted with the clouds most of the day, which made for some tricky lighting situations, but hey if you can't make an awesome wedding video here, where can ya? :) With the mountains, aspen trees, surrounding wildlife, and amazing wedding venue as backdrops...lighting situations be damned. 

These love birds got engaged one year ago in Estes Park at the Stanley Hotel. They decided to make their return to this beautiful destination in the mountains to tie the knot. The Della Terra Mountain Chateau provides the most stunning location nestled in the mountains for a picturesque wedding! 

I hope what really shines through in this short film is the love that these two possess for each other. They are so playful and have fun with each other. They just have the "it" quality that makes relationships work and makes everyone else swoon! Even during the ceremony, they never take themselves too seriously. Their love is one to be truly admired! 

Our goal going in is always to capture a couple's wedding day in a short film in a way that they can re-live over and over again throughout the course of their lives. From the first moments of the day getting ready all the way through dances and toasts, we strive to create your visual masterpiece that is unique to you and your wedding.

Bryson [Senior] Estes Park, Colorado

Bryson had half of his senior 'shoot done in Estes Park, Colorado while I was out there shooting his sister's wedding video!
